Guides Camp'09: packing list

Hello! Here's the details of camp and packing list. If there's anything you're unsure of, do contact your leaders and check with them. :)

Dates: 17 -19 December 2009
Reporting Time: 7.30 am

Packing List
* PLEASE LABEL ALL BELONGINGS

3 sets of T shirts (no tank tops/ shirts with prints)
3 sets of shorts (no FBT, shorts cannot be too short)
1 set of track pants
1 sweater (optional)
3 pairs of socks
Undergarments – sufficient for 3 days
Poncho/ raincoat/ umbrella (compulsory)
Slippers/ sandals (for use in the shower only)
Sleeping bag
Pillow (optional)
Towel
Toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, etc)
Notebook and pen
1.5L water bottle
Cap/ hat (optional)
Insect repellent
Clothes hanger/ clothes peg
Personal medication
Torch (to be fitted with batteries)
Plastic bags – for storing soiled clothing
Small bag
Rags/ unwanted cloth
Blindfold/ cloth that can act as blindfold (compulsory)
Present for Manito (cannot exceed $3 each)
Plate, fork and spoon (no disposable utensils)
Full Guides uniform

DO NOT BRING SNACKS AND VALUABLE ITEMS. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF BELONGINGS. UNAUTHORISED MATERIALS WILL BE CONFISCATED.

PS: Attendance is compulsory, unless you have valid reasons, let Eunice/Shihui know.

ROCK CLIMBING

ROCK CLIMBING (Sport Climbing) @ CSC!
Ainnie, Anastasia, Daphne, Eunice.G, Eunice.k, Hweeru, June, Lichoo and Miss Tham attended the Intro to Rock Climbing course! :)

The course was super fun!

I love it! :)
First, the instructors told us about the equipments and more about rock climbing. Then, the most long thing: ROCK CLIMBING! And the course ended with bouldering.
The instructors were super nice, hee. :D
Hopefully this would interest you more to go for the next session! :)

YOYOYO! Tomorrow's school's NDP full dress rehearsal!

DO wear PROPER attire or Eunice koh and Koh Huiting will make you all do 1000000000 Buddha claps!

So remember to:

Polish your boots - Use kiwi, if you don't know how to ASK
Polish your enrolment badge - Use autosol or brusol or colgate
Iron your scarf - Fold it back once then front twice and tie the small square
Season your hat - Put it under the mattress / Iron it / Put it under boots
Tie PLAITS not bun or pony tails
Bring clips to pin up the fringe
BLACK rubber bands
Socks THREE fingers above ankle

If we guides want to show the others that we're li hai, then we have to proper attire first! :D

Tyvm, this goes the same for you if you're told to bring uniform.

This is the basic and its a MUST.
